If I didn't have to save...

There are about 5 other things that should be given priority at the moment, yet I'm incredibly preoccupied by things. Mainly, things I want.

Long ago leather shorts set up camp on my wish list and they don't seem to be going anywhere. Problem is, I can't find the right ones. Vintage maybe, kind of slouchy, yet not so 80's, not too long yet not super short, with something interesting that makes them stand out from the rest. IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK????

Hey, look who it is. It's Chloe Sevigny, looking pretty bad-ass in Opening Ceremony leather shorts. They'll do, for the time being.

I'm not getting married. At all. But I can't stop thinking about the vintage wedding dresses from LA Vintage.

I'm pretty sure I could come up with a reason to justify a purchase. 'Uh...just in case I...you know...join a cult. The kind that dance in fields of flowers and relive days when love was free and all you needed was a guitar and a fistful of dreams. Yeah, that cult. They're recruiting, I hear'.

Lastly, a leopard print coat please. I found two that were very near perfect, but this was at a time when poverty was my best friend. As they are now probably gone, the search continues. It may be a side effect of my Kate Moss obsession, but I don't think my wardrobe will be happy until it has one.

So for the moment, that's all I want. It's really not too much to ask.

If I Could Disapparate...

Not that I have a problem with musical guests, Easter hunts, glitter and glue but today, instead of being at work I wanted to be here....

And to be wearing this....

If you could choose, where would you have gone today?

Lovely Hawaii, I'll See You Soon...

In November A and I, along with 3 of our gorgeous friends, are spending 8 nights in Hawaii for what will hopefully be a beautiful, watercolour adventure, peppered with the occasional jumbo cocktail and mortifying karaoke session. I've been told that when holidaying in Honolulu one spends most of their time barefoot and wearing a barely-there bikini. However, being a complete slave to new, pretty things and having a vested interest in not looking like Tara Reid, here are a few of the things I'm looking forward to wearing as we break the hearts of all the boys on Waikiki Beach...

McQueen dress and Valli coat

Etro
White on white on white. Is there anywhere else more perfect for this look than a tropical paradise?

ModCloth
I want to sunbathe in a retro swimsuit (sans the rockabilly tattoos).

Chanel

Jeffery Campbell

Not exactly sand-friendly shoes but if I could have those Chanel clogs I would probably wear them for the rest of my life. Have I mentioned lately how talented you are, Mr Lagerfeld....?

...just so I can be an island princess

So Hawaii, wait for me. It won't be long until we meet, hopefully clad in Chanel, with jewels in my hair....

Yours, dreaming of paradise
